KARACHI: MCC Appraisement East has reconstituted the Classification Committee for determining the classification of an imported item.
Additional Collector Muhammad Haris Ansari will head the Committee while members include Deputy Collectors Naveed Iqbal, Ataullah Shabbir, Iqbal Ahmed Memon, Principal Appraisers Mir Mansur Ahmed, Bahadur Khan and Appraiser Safdar Manan.
The Committee may co-opt representative of other collectorates and traded bodies as and when required and call for expert opinion if required while determining the classification of imported items.
