KARACHI: Directorate General of Customs valuation has revised the customs values of Diyar Timber, Plain Particle Board and Prime Moulded Fibre Board Door Skin vide valuation ruling No.719 / 2015.
According to details, numerous representations were received in the Directorate to revise the values keeping in view decreasing trends in the International Market and as per order of the Customs Appellate Tribunal.
After review proceedings, an order was issued with the direction to revise current valuation ruling, an exercise was initiated for redetermination of customs values for Diyar Timber, Plain Particle Board and Prime Moulded Fibre Board Door Skin
Diyar Timber, Plain Particle Board and Prime Moulded Fibre Board Door Skin per KG value will be assessed for duty and taxes at the following rates:
The customs values of Diyar Timber Afghanistan origin will be Pak Rs:750/f3 & Pak Rs:26486/m3 Plain Particle Board Far East origin at $0.28, Moulded Fibre Board Door Skin China, Malaysia, Thailand & Sri Lanka origin at $0.56 and Others origin at $0.62. A revision petition may be filed against this Ruling.
