KARACHI: All offices of Inland Revenue and Pakistan Customs will observe Saturday, March 29 as normal working day for collection of duty and taxes to make maximum revenue, a circular said.
The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) directed Large Taxpayer Units (LTUs), Regional Tax Offices (RTOs) and all the collectorates of customs across the country to observe normal working hours i.e 9.00am to 5.00pm on Saturday March 29, 2014 and on Monday March 31, 2014 the office will remain open till 10:00pm for collection of duty and taxes.
In order to facilitate the taxpayer, it is requested that instructions may kindly be issued to the authorize branches of State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) and National Institute of Facilitation Technologies (NIFT), to remain open on Saturday March 29 from 9.00am to 5.00pm and on Monday March 31, 2014 will remain open till 10.00pm.
