KARACHI: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) on Monday informed its officers of BS-17 to 19 about postings abroad as Community Welfare Attaches (CWAs) by Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development in the following Pakistan missions abroad.
According to notification, the posting will be made in the following countries which are included: Jeddah, Athens, Seoul, Abu Dhabi, Muscat, Riyadh and Dubai.
The officers for postings will be chosen from federal and provincial governments under specific criteria which included:
The officer is in the same grades as the post to be filled and officers from higher or lower grades will not be considered;
The officer has an overall good record of service particularly during the last five years of service;
The selectee at atleast a graduate in law/public administration/political science/economics with five years experience in management field work or labour manpower or processes the technical qualification required for the job;
Officers within promotion zone during the next two years should not be considered;
Officer, who likely to retire during the next three years should also not be considered;
Written test will be conducted by a well reputed institution.
The Ministry said that the ministries/divisions are requested to forward nominations of suitable candidates for the subject titled to this Ministry by March 15, 2014.
