KARACHI: The Directorate General of Customs Valuation has determined the customs values of Almond in shell and Almond Shelled up to $3.25 per Kilogram for the duty collection through valuation Ruling No. 604/2013, according to a notification.
The following customs values of almond are assessed under Section 25 A of the Customs Act 1969:
Almond in shell of origins Iran, Afghanistan and USA under PCT Code of 0802.110 will be assessed up to (C&F) $2.50 to $2.75 per kg.
Almond in shelled of origin Iran, Afghanistan and USA under PCT Code of 0802.1200 will be assessed up to (C&F) $3.00 to $3.25 per kg.
It is also mentioned that if declared/transaction values are higher than the customs value determined in this ruling, the assessing officers shall apply those values in terms of Sub-Section (1) of Section 25 of the Customs Act, 1969.
