KARACHI: The Directorate of Customs Valuation has re-determined the customs values of brake fluid to reflect the current price trends in the international markets as the last valuation ruling in this regard was issued on June 16, 2011.
The brake fluids under PCT code 2710.1994 including engine oils, gasoline oils, transmission oils etc., would now be assessed as per following values determined vide Valuation Ruling No.561/2013.
The new custom values of Engine oil/gasoline oil/transmission oil brake fluid DOT 3 Toyota (Black) 354ml of USA origin is $2.93/Pc and $8.27/Liter;
Engine oil/gasoline oil/transmission oil brake fluid DOT 3 SK355 ml of origin South Korea at $1.3/Pc and $3.66/Lier;
Engine oil/gasoline oil/transmission oil brake fluid DOT 3 Seiken (B.F-3) 355ml/gm of Japan origin at $1.32/Pc and $3.71/Liter;
Engine oil/gasoline oil/transmission oil brake fluid DOT 3 FUCHS 250 ml of Saudi Arabia origin at $0.79/Pc and $3.16/Liter;
Engine oil/gasoline oil/transmission oil brake fluid DOT 3 355 ml –other brand of all origin excluding USA at $1.12/Pc and $3.15/Liter;
Engine oil/gasoline oil/transmission oil brake fluid DOT 3 250 ml –other brand of all origin excluding USA at $0.80/Pc and $3.20/Liter;
Engine oil/gasoline oil/transmission oil brake fluid in bulk of all origin excluding USA would be assessed at custom values of $1.52 per liter.
