KARACHI: A customs appellate bench of High Court of Sindh (SHC) ordered placing a report filed by Nazir of court on record in a petition filed by Jamal Apparels.
The bench heard counsel from Franklin Law Associates appearing for the petitioner company as well as custom officials.
According to Nazir’s report, most of the consignment comprising Indian fabric had no stamp while on some stamp of B.L. Sharma was found.
The counsel for petitioner prayed to the court to order release of the part of consignment having no stamp while referring the case of part of consignment with stamp to adjudicating authority.
During arguments both the sides requested the court to take the said report on record which was allowed by the bench. The bench then put of further proceedings till Nov 28.
