SHC defers bail plea of alleged opium smuggler for Aug 28

KARACHI: Justice Faheem Ahmed Siddiqui of High Court of Sindh (SHC) deferred hearing of a bail application filed by one Zamir Ahmed till Aug 28.

The accused / applicant was booked by Pakistan Customs on charge of smuggling six kilogram opium in a buss coming to Karachi from Mand Blu, Balochistan.

The judge found no urgency in the matter and adjourned further proceedings till Aug 28. The accused was represented by Ms Dil Khurram Shaheen advocate.
