KARACHI: A single bench of High Court of Sindh headed by Justice Abdul Malik Gaddai on Friday ordered issuance of fresh notices to Najeeb ullah, a Preventive Officer of ASO, Pakistan Customs for July 06.
The bench was hearing bail pleas filed by Zmaeer Ahmed, Liaquat, drivers of Mullah Jan Coach and Nawab, a cleaner of the bus.
The applicant/accused were arrested by police on charge of attempt to smuggle in 8 kilograms of opium in the said bus enroute to Karachi.
Theapplicant/accused pleading innocence maintains that the opium belonged to two passengers whose names and cell numbers were available in passengers list/manifest but they were allowed to go while the applicants were arrested and booked.
