KARACHI: MCC Preventive is keeping strict vigilance on the movement of smuggled goods and foiled numerous attempts to transport and distribute smuggled goods.
Information was received through Collector Dr. Iftikha about the movement of smuggled contraband goods. Subsequently, Additional Collector Aamir Theim and Deputy Collector ASO Mohammad Faisal supervised two enforcement activities seized 27,960 Kgs approx. betelnuts worth of Rs. 6.59 Million and other smuggled goods including tyres/peanuts etc. worth of Rs. 1.04 Million.
Total C&F value of aforesaid seized smuggled goods is to the tune of Rs. 7.63 Million.
