KARACHI: An appellate bench of High Court of Sindh (SHC) comprising Justice Munib Akhtar and Justice Agha Faisal on Friday suspended recovery notices issued to Ocean Mall owners by Sindh Revenue Board.
According to details. SRB issued notices to the Ocean Mall for recovery under the head “services” running into millions. According to tax officials, the Mall administration is selling electricity to shop keepers which fell within the definition of “Services” which is taxable.
The recovery notice was challenged in the instant petition and the bench after hearing initial arguments suspended the recovery notices fixing April 9 for further hearing.
