Notices issued in Regulatory Duty cases

Karachi: A division bench of High Court of Sindh on Monday issued notices in a number of identical petitions pertaining to Regulatory Duty. The bench heard a council for all Pakistan Tiles Association and another filed by Johnson trading.

A lawyer from Franklin Law Associates and Ms Dil Khuram Shaheen advocate for petitioners and challenged of imposition of Regulatory Duty. They pointed out that this bench has decided a number of cases of identical nature through it’s judgement dated February 7.

They prayed for implementation of the said judgement in these petitions also. The bench however issued notices to the respondent Pakistan customs and other for March 13.
