KARACHI: On the directions of the Chief Collector Central Zeba Haye and Collector MCC Preventive Lahore CH. Zulfiqar to curb the menace of smuggling in Lahore, Anti Smuggling Organisation Preventive Lahore accelerated anti smuggling activities.
During the month of April 2017, Cases of Cigarettes, Gutka, Cloth, Soft Juice, Toyota Surf Jeeps, Ceramic Tiles and Smart Mobile phone sets were seized.
Value of these seized items is Rs.25 million.
The ASO staff seized mobile phone sets of assorted models of Samsung brand worth Rs.8.5 million from railway station arrived from Karachi.
Intercepted truck loaded with ceramic tiles of Iran origin coming from Quetta.
A bus loaded with misc goods was intercepted at shera KOT Babu Sabu interchange coming from Peshawar.
Cases are registered and further investigations are underway
