KARACHI: An appellate bench of Supreme Court of Pakistan refused to hear a Civil Petition 953 K of 2016 filed by Collector Customs against Horizon International and others. The bench ordered a rehearing by another bench whenever available.
According to details, Justice Faisal Arab was the member of a full bench of Supreme Court of Pakistan which heard the appeal and later reserved the judgment. But before the judgment was announced, it was found that counsel for petitioner include son of the Justice Faisal Arab. The judge immediately withdrew from the bench. The court also ordered a rehearing.
