KARACHI: An appellate bench of High Court of Sindh comprising Justice Munib Akhtar and Justice Yousuf Ali Sayeed deferred hearing of a petition filed by International Maritime Service (Pvt) Ltd versus FBR and other Custom officials indefinitely.
Rehan Kayani advocate appeared for the petitioner company and said dozens of the container are stuck up at the port. He prayed to the court to order release, de-stucking of the containers saving the shipping line from huge losses.
A counsel appearing for the respondent FBR sought time and also the copies of the petition. The bench directed the petitioner side to supply the copies of the petition and other documents to the other side and allowing request by respondent FBR adjourned hearing.
