KARACHI: Directorate of Customs Valuation has determined the customs values of disposable gas cigarette lighters vide Valuation Ruling No.1022/2017.
Directorate General of Customs Valuation earlier notified reference values of disposable cigarette lighters.
However, some importers approached the Directorate General requesting issuance valuation ruling for uniform applicability.
Therefore, an exercise was initiated for determination of customs values of the subject goods.
The customs values of disposable gas/cigarette lighters under PCT 9613.1000 of China are fixed at $0.11/pc, of Europe/USA/Canada/Japan at $0.16/pc and other origins at $0.12/pc.
