KARACHI: The directorate of customs valuation has determined the customs valuation of new and used jute bags vide Valuation Ruling No.1020/2017.
Pakistan Jute Mills Association and MCC Port Qasim have requested for determination of customs values of used jute bags imported from different origins.
The customs values of used jute bags under PCT 6305.1000 of Thailand origin are fixed at $0.38/kg, other origins at $0.45/kg.
The customs values of new jute bags under PCT 6305.1000 of Bangladesh origin are fixed at $0.95/kg, other origins at $1.02/kg.
