KARACHI: MCC Gwadar has seized smuggled goods including narcotics worth Rs1.589 billion during the last quarter of calendar year 2016 so far.
On the directives of Collector Gwadar Saeed Akram, the collectorate accelerated the anti-smuggling drive against smugglers and during the months October-December 2016 seized smuggled Iran origin diesel oil 152,000 liters worth Rs9.1 million, narcotics worth Rs1.567 billion and miscellaneous goods worth Rs21.98 million.
Total value of seized goods during the last two and a half month is Rs1.589 billion.
