KARACHI: A division bench of High Court of Sindh (SHC) on Thursday ordered the Custom officials to hand over custody of a Toyota Hiace vehicle to Nazir of SHC.
The bench was hearing a petition filed by Ghulam Abbas, owner of the vehicle detained by the custom for having tempered chasis.
Today, the officials from respondent department were in attendance along with their counsel.
The bench inquired that whether they have brought the vehicle to which they replied in affirmative.
The bench recording this statement in the order asked them to hand over custody of the same to the Nazir. The bench then fixed Nov 01 as next date of hearing when the custom officers were ordered to remain present.
