KARACHI: Director Customs Valuation Wasif Memon has revised the customs values of racket of different types vide Valuation ruling No.884/2016.
It was known that the values of rackets of different sized had increased considerably in the international market as compared to the determined values of rackets vide Valuation Ruling No.244/2010.
An exercise was initiated to determine the values of rackets under PCT 9506 afresh.
The values of tennis racket (aluminum) of China are fixed at $11.2/pc, of all other origins at $14.6/pc.
The values of tennis racket (carbon graphite) of China are fixed at $24/pc, of all other origins at $28/pc.
The values of badminton racket (aluminum) of China are fixed at $3.7/pc, of all other origins at $4.8/pc.
The values of badmintonracket (carbon graphite) of China are fixed at $18/pc, of all other origins at $21/pc.
The values of squash racket (aluminum) of China are fixed at $8.5/pc, of all other origins at $12.5/pc.
The values of squash racket (carbon graphite) of China are fixed at $20/pc, of all other origins at $23/pc.
The values of table tennis racket of China are fixed at $0.8/pc, of all other origins at $1.2/pc.
