KARACHI: Director Customs Valuation Dr. Wasif Memon has revised the customs values of iron and stainless steel wire net/mesh vide valuation ruling No.877/2016.
The importers of iron and stainless steel wire net/mesh agitated against the earlier ruling No.622/2013 mainly on the grounds that the prices of these goods had declined in the international market.
The Customs values of iron wire net/mesh under PCT 7314.2000 of china are fixed at $0.69/KG. The Customs values of stainless steel wire net/mesh 50 upto 150 under PCT 7314 of china are fixed at $2.15/KG. The Customs values of stainless steel wire net/mesh 200 upto 250 under PCT 7314 of china are fixed at $4.25/KG.
