Higher rate of regulatory duty continues on import of industrial steel

KARACHI: The federal government has extended higher rates of regulatory duty on the import of iron and steel products for another year.

The existing rate of regulatory duty on various products had been increased vide SRO 236(I)/2016 till June 30, 2016. However, SRO 477(I)/2016 has extended the increased rates of regulatory duty for an indefinite period.
