KARACHI: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has notified that all the Custom Collectorates and Inland Revenue offices will observe extended working hours till 10:00 PM on Wednesday the June 29 2016 and till 12:00 midnight on Thursday June 30, 2016 for collection of duties/taxes.
Moreover, all the Customs collectorates will observe June 25 & 26, 2016 as normal working day.
The chief collectors of customs and chief commissioners of inland revenue are also required to establish liaison with State Bank of Pakistan, National Bank of Pakistan and scheduled commercial banks in their jurisdiction to ensure transfer of tax collection by these branches before or on June 30, 2016 to the respective offices of State Bank of Pakistan on the same date and to account the same towards the collection for the month of June, 2016.
