KARACHI: Director Customs Valuation Karachi Dr. Wasif Memon has revised the customs values of galvanized, un-galvanized iron and steel ropes vide Valuation Ruling No.857/2016.
Importers of galvanized, un-galvanized iron and steel ropes agitated against valuation ruling No.632/2014 stating that the values of these goods in the international market were on lower side.
An exercise was undertaken to determine the values of galvanized, un-galvanized iron and steel ropes afresh.
The customs values of galvanized iron and steel wire ropes under PCT 7312.1010 and 7312.1020 of China origin are fixed at $1.11/KG.
The customs values of un-galvanized iron and steel wire ropes under PCT 7312.1010 and 7312.1020 of China origin are fixed at $0.94/KG.
