KARACHI: The Court of Justice Justice Muhammad Iqbal Kalhoro has adjourned the bail hearing of Sharjeel Jamal of M/s U Trade Shahrukh Jamal, Jamaluddin till May 31, 2016.
The applicants include Danish Qureshi, Syed Naushad Azam, Tahir Sadiq, Zafar Iqbal Hajveri, Usman Jawwad, Sharjeel Jamal, Abdul Wahab, Usman Rafique, Ali Qureshi, Sarfraz Alam, PiyarAli Mithani, Imran Munir Puri, Abdul Jabbar, Jamaluddin, Muhammad Azeem, Muhammad Amir Shafi and Asif Bilal.
Additional Collector Saleem Memon, Deputy Collector Rana Aftab and Advocate Kashif Nazir represented the Customs. The IOs of the case are Ashfaq-ur-Rehman, Shahid Ibrahim Dasti, Ilyas Ahsan and Javed Khalid were also present.
These importers are booked in FIRs lodged against M/s AMI Pakistan in the case of switch bill of lading and so far 40 FIRs have been lodged in this case including 20 by MCC Appraisement West, 19 by MCC Appraisement East and one by Directorate of Intelligence.
