KARACHI: Director Customs Valuation Karachi, Dr. Wasif Ali Memon has revised the customs values of potato frozen French fries vide Valuation Ruling No.842/2016.
The values of frozen potato French fries were determined vide Valuation Ruling No. 542/2013. References were received from importers for revision of valuation ruling as they claimed the international prices of the goods were declining.
An exercise was conducted to determine the values of frozen potato French fries afresh under PCT 2004.1000.
The customs values of potato frozen French fries (Lambweston, JR Simplot, Aviko) of USA origin are fixed at $0.90/KG, of European Union at $0.80/KG.
The customs values of potato frozen French fries (Me Cain Brand) of India origin are fixed at $0.70/KG. The customs values of potato frozen French fries (other brands) of all other origin are fixed at $0.70/KG.
