KARACHI: MCC Islamabad has seized 320 grams of heroin powder worth Rs3.2 million at International Mail Office Chaklala Garrison, Rawalpindi.
According to details, during clearance of export registry parcels at International Mail Office, Chaklala Garrison, Rawalpindi, a parcel bearing Barcode no. RB005780815PK booked by Raja Waqas Ali for Z. Rafique, Manchester, UK was found suspicious.
Detailed examination of parcel led to recovery of 320gms of heroine powder worth Rs3.2 million tactfully concealed in the binding of three books.
An FIR has been lodged against the above mentioned consigner with I&P Branch under Customs Act, 1969. Raids to arrest the accused are being conducted by the Investigation and Prosecution Branch of the Collectorate.
