KARACHI: The anti smuggling squad of MCC Islamabad has seized smuggled goods worth Rs2.2 million and arrested two persons.
One Mazda truck was intercepted by Anti Smuggling Squad of Customs Collectorate Islamabad at Jhelum. Upon checking officials recovered huge quantity of smuggled goods.
The seized goods include Furnishing textile fabric, Boski silk fabric, Katan silk fabric, Gutka, Mini umbrella, Cigarettes, Iron pad lock, and Mazda Truck. Total value of the case is 3.2 millions.
FIR has been lodged and investigations are underway.
