KARACHI: Director Customs Valuation Karachi Dr. Wasif Memon has revised the customs values of biscuits vide Valuation Ruling No.838/2016.
MCC Appraisement West had informed that the recent clearance data of imported biscuit is higher than the determined value of the biscuits determined vide Valuation Ruling No.504/2012.
Valuation Ruling No.504/2012 was withdrawn and an exercise was initiated to determine the customs values of biscuits afresh under PCT 1905.
The customs values of Walker brand biscuits of all origins are fixed at $11.30/KG and values of Oreo biscuits milk chocolate of all origins are fixed at $2.65/KG. The customs values of plain biscuits Parle-G & Britannia brand biscuits of India are fixed at $1.55/KG and all other origins are fixed at $1.60/KG.
Plain biscuits of all origins including brands Nutro, Julies, Jack & Jill, Zuka, Hollanda, Eterna, Bissin, Kalsen, As Bisca, Tiffany, Danisa, Torto, Deemah, Hwatai, Munchys, Maliban, Mayora Dolphin, K.Rogers, Glenda, Amara, Amulya, Cofee Joy, Astor and Kakola are fixed at $1.45/KG. Plain biscuits of all other brands and origins excluding those of USA and Europe would be assessed to duty and taxes at $1.55/KG, and of USA & Europe at $2.4/KG.
The customs values of cream biscuits Parle-G & Britannia brand biscuits of India are fixed at $1.60/KG and all other origins are fixed at $1.65/KG.
Cream biscuits of all origins including brands Nutro, Julies, Jack & Jill, Zuka, Hollanda, Eterna, Bissin, Kalsen, As Bisca, Tiffany, Danisa, Torto, Deemah, Hwatai, Munchys, Maliban, Mayora Dolphin, K.Rogers, Glenda, Amara, Amulya, Cofee Joy, Astor and Kakola are fixed at $1.60/KG. Plain biscuits of all other brands and origins excluding those of USA and Europe would be assessed to duty and taxes at $1.65/KG, and of USA & Europe at $2.5/KG.
The customs values of Wafer biscuits Parle-G & Britannia brand biscuits of India are fixed at $1.50/KG and all other origins are fixed at $1.55/KG.
Wafer biscuits of all origins including brands Nutro, Julies, Jack & Jill, Zuka, Hollanda, Eterna, Bissin, Kalsen, As Bisca, Tiffany, Danisa, Torto, Deemah, Hwatai, Munchys, Maliban, Mayora Dolphin, K.Rogers, Glenda, Amara, Amulya, Cofee Joy, Astor and Kakola are fixed at $1.45/KG. Plain biscuits of all other brands and origins excluding those of USA and Europe would be assessed to duty and taxes at $1.55/KG, and of USA & Europe at $2.35/KG.
