KARACHI: A divisional bench of High Court of Sindh (SHC) comprising Chief Justice Sajjad Ali Shah and Justice Zulfiqar Ahmed Khan on Thursday ordered in bonding of imported consignments at private bonded warehouse.
The petitioners, Eastern Construction Company, Moon General Trading Company and Khalid Amen moved the court through their counsels including Ms Dill Hurrah Shaken, Aim Miner Baja and Habit Jabil advocates praying to the court to allow in-bonding of their goods including dumper trucks and cloth. They said that due to delay in release of the goods they are overburdened by the demurrage and hence the request for in-bonding be allowed
Kashif Nazeer advocate for Pakistan Customs, Appraisement and Principal Appraiser, Law, Ilyas Ahsan did not object to the request at which the bench allowing the request disposed of the petitions.
