KARACHI: The Directorate of Post Clearance Audit has made remarkable performance in the month of January 2016 and detected 48 cases involving revenue of Rs531 million.
Post Clearance Audit headed by Director Gul Rehman detected cases pertaining to short payment of customs duty and sales tax/WHT because of inadmissible concessions; short payment of anti-dumping duty, additional sales tax, FED and income tax.
The Directorate served 27 contravention reports and 21 Audit observations during January 2016 involving total of duty and taxes of Rs531 million.
