KARACHI: The MCC Preventive Karachi has launched an opaeration against fuel stations selling smuggled goods and confiscated smuggled fuel worth millions of rupees.
On the directives of Collector Preventive S.M Tariq Huda, the staff of ASO MCC Preventive, Karachi headed by Assistant Collector Syed Muhammad Raza Naqvi along with the ASO staff of MCC Hyderabad and Directorate of Intelligence, Khi conducted an operation against the petrol pumps involved in the sale of Iranian diesel near Kathore and Nooriabad along Super Highway, Karachi and confiscated more than 60,000 litres of Iranian diesel worth million of rupees.
Three oil tankers and three fuel dispensers were also confiscated during the operation.

It is pertinent to mention here that this is second time during the last 5 months that 2 mega operations were successfully conducted by Pakistan Customs without the help of Rangers and Police in the aforementioned places.
