KARACHI: Anti smuggling organization (ASO) Hyderabad has dismantled four more illegal petrol/diesel pumps engaged in receipt and supply of smuggled diesel in Kotri District Jamshoro on January 7, 2015.
These four are in addition to the five pumps already dismantled in Mipurkhas and Badin by
ASO Hyderabad. In all nine pumps have so far been dismantled by ASO Hyderabad.
MCC Hyderabad has initiated crackdown against the smuggling of Irani diesel and petrol pumps selling the same.
Chairman FBR Tariq Bajwa and Member Customs Nisar Mohammad Khan on November 25, 2014 had directed Collectors Preventive, Quetta, Giddani and Hyderabad to start operation against smuggling of Irani diesel and petrol pumps selling the smuggled commodity.
Collector MCC Hyderabad Dr. Wasif Memon formed two committees of Anti-smuggling organization headed by Assistant Collector Aminullah Tareen ASO Hyderabad and Assistant Collector Ms. Zamzam Aman ASO Sukkur.
