KARACHI: The Model Customs Collectorate of Exports has expedited the process of recovery through physical attachment of properties to secure government revenue.
The Model Customs Collectorate of Exports has physically attached immovable property for recovery of government dues from M/s Muslim Cotton Mills (Pvt) Limited. The date for auction of these properties would be announced soon. An amount of Rs4.32 million had been adjudged against the company.
Collector Exports Manzoor Memon has formed a special recovery cell comprising Deputy collector Moona Baloch, Assistant Collector Sanam Qureshi and Principal Appraiser Ameen Farooqi who played an instrumental role in executing the cases.
Chief Collector Enforcement Nazim Saleem has directed all the collectors including Collector Hyderabad, Collector Preventive, Collector Exports Port Qasim, Collector Giddani, Collector Quetta to expedite the recovery process and opt for physical attachment.
MCC Exports has notified Sindh Industrial Trading Estates Ltd, so that necessary entries of attachment may be made in the requisite land revenue records by inserting a note therein under intimation to this office as well as the vendor and vendee at the earliest, in respect of property, situated at Plot No.A/1-A/1, SITE Karachi belonging to Munir Razzak Teli, CE of M/s Cotton Mills.
It may be mentioned here that, MCC Exports has already attached the M/s Al Noor Traders and M/s Gravure Packaging (Pvt) Limited.
