KARACHI: The division bench of Sindh High Court (SHC) has disposed of a petition filed against All Pakistan Customs Agents Association (APCAA) and asked the ministry of commerce to settle the issue as per trade bodies’ law.
The APCAA was registered in 2010 under Trade Organization Ordinance 2007. Arshad Jamal and Shams Burney had put their extraordinary efforts to get the registration from the ministry of commerce.
Challenging the registration, Saifullah Khan former president and Tariq Siddiqui, former general secretary had filed petition in 2010. However, Tariq Siddiqui withdrew the petition in the same year. Meanwhile, the SHC disposed of the plea of Saifullah Khan on October 20, 2014.
