KARACHI: The Directorate of Reforms and Automation (Customs) is organizing three-day training for customs officials and clearing agents to understand changes made into WeBOC modules.
Officials at the directorate told Customnews.pk that the development of the Change Requests in respect of different modules as forwarded by various collectorates have been completed by WeBOC software team. In this regard, a training session is scheduled to be held from October 13, 2014.
According to details the training for CRFs to allow changes in ex-bond goods declaration in compliance of court order under GD assessment Module for AC/DC Warehousing, clearing agents to be held on October 13. CRF PD Accounts for AC/DC MIS to be held on the same day.
Likewise, CRF imposition of fine and penalty on short landing of bulk cargo for AC/DC MIS.
On October 14, the training session to be held for AC/DC off dock terminal with the request to bring along the terminal operator staff for CRF Inter Port Movement. On the same day a session for clearing agents, bonded carriers, AC/DC licensing for CRF inclusion of bonded carrier in into bond GD and AC/DC securities and staff to understand CRF securities management.
On the last day of the training session, CRF transit MIS Reports, CRF Export, DTRE and CRF filing of bulk cargo manifest through MDB format to be held for AC/DC transit MIS, AC/DC DTRE and staff and AC/DC MIS, staff with the request to bring along the representative shipping lines.
